Sunaina Ahuja was born on January 24, 1992, in Amritsar, Punjab, India, to a Punjabi Hindu family. She spent most of her childhood in New Delhi. Sunaina and her family moved to Canada from India when she was 13. She completed her high school from Rick Hansen Secondary School.

In her free time, Sunaina enjoys reading the news, baking cakes, and spending quality time with her family.
